🎮 How to Play

1. Computer 1 (Host):
   • Close this modal and click "Local PvP"
   • Start a game and share the screen/position with Player 2
2. Computer 2 (Player 2):
   • View the same screen and make moves when it's your turn
   • Players alternate turns on the same game board

💡 Alternative: Run Backend Locally

For true multiplayer on LAN with separate screens, run the Romgon backend on one computer and both players connect to that computer's IP address (e.g., http://192.168.1.5:3000). Then use the regular "LAN Multiplayer" or "Create Private Room" options.

🎯 Objective

Move your Rhombus to your opponent's base OR trap their rhombus so it cannot move (checkmate).

♟️ Pieces & Movement

⚖️ Basic Rules

• Turn-based: Players alternate turns (Black starts first)
• One action per turn: Move OR attack, then end turn
• Capturing: Land on opponent's piece to capture it
• Base Defence: Pieces at your base give you strength
• No Repeating: Cannot repeat the same position 3 times
• Escape Race: When both rhombuses reach opponent bases, first to move wins!

• Triangle Rotation: Press LEFT/RIGHT to rotate after moving
• Threat Highlights: Red glow shows pieces under attack
• Move History: Track all moves in side panels
• Coordinate Display: Toggle hex coordinates on/off
